A Galaxy of Suns was performed at the Bankfoot House in the Glass House Mountains (QLD) for the Horizon Festival 2019. The choir was performing a microtonal score, composed and arranged using star data mapped to the exact location where the performance was taking place.

For this outdoor production I have re-designed the lighting, and developed the custom software that was controlling all the lighting effects.

The custom software was receiving star data from an external app; then, in real time, the colours were corrected to match the stars gradients and visual quality, as they are perceived by naked eye from earth, while overlaying unique lighting animations inspired by the motion of planets, sunrise and sunset cycling patterns, in sync with the sound composition.
