For Obscene Madame D, I have designed and developed a software to control several key elements of my lighting design. 

This software, with its custom made interface, allowed me to control and manipulate lighting in real time, to support and guide the performance throughout the  duration of the show. The effects could range from subtle, and almost subliminal, to ghostly and unearthly, all the way to on-your-face and intense sort of aesthetic.

For this  lighting design I wanted to include the audience in the installation inhabited by the solo performer.

The lighting installation, and the choice of effects deployed,  where designed and tailored to provide and suggest feelings of sharing and belonging with the performer world, and to allow the audience to live sensations of intimacy, warmth, or disorientation, vertigo, and movement. 

This solution enhanced the audience experience, created an effective surrounding effect, and provided a deeper sense of immersion in the performance itself.
